USB on a DVD player
Mar 4
OK so perhaps I am the last person in the world to find the USB slot in my DVD player useful but DAM that thing is wicked. Stick in a USB stick filled with what ever you want and the DVD player reads and plays it – loving it!
Goals for 2009
Jan 9
A random blog post reminded me to get my goals for 2009 in order so here they are:
- Earn enough money to support my Mum
- Finish getting my MCSE even though I no longer like Mircosoft
- Get my RHCE
- Loose 10KG
More geeky than expected and not a huge list but I think with work carrying on at its breakneck speed it should be enough to keep me occuopied for a while.
Online Backup
Sep 24
So this morning I was as usual reading my subscribed blogs & found out about this company that just got bought for some stupid amount of money & so I thought I would have a nice little look and see why they are worth the money. I still dont know to be honsest why they were worth so much cash but I dont mind becuase I found a nice and cheap backup system for my Apple which if you are a Apple user you will know that finding a cheap but good online backup system that support Mac is well… hard!
At this time the Mac support is beta but I really dont mind too much as long as it does backup my stuff!
$4.99 for “unlimited” backup space – um…. I thought where is that signup button
And with probally 90% of techies out there you have a parent who depends on you for help, so i pinged off an email to my Mum to subscribe too!
Trackbacks?
Jun 10
I have to admit I have heard of Trackbacks years ago – but until I started blogging more frequently I never understood it.
I looked up a definition of how it works and when to use it – this post from optiniche.com will fit the bill.
