F1 – The World Gone Mad
May 22
So I went on holiday just before the Spanish GP and in the matter of two weeks the F1 world has gone bonkers, we have had:
- Ferrari take the F1 to court
- Alonso & Rikkonen thinking about leaving
- Massa nearly gets into the big points but runs out of petrol
- Button wins his third
- Aston Martin & Litespeed ponders a return
- Donington is “safe”
And that is just the most interesting ones!

Build up to Shanghai F1
Apr 17
This weekend I am heading off to watch the Shanghai F1 and oh what an interesting build up there has been:
- McLaren’s Dennis quits Formula 1
- Ferrari abandon Kers for China GP
- Renault & McLaren change diffuser
and finally
I cant remember the last time I saw a red flag, and the race be abandoned its been awhile. Button wins the race but with only 1/2 the points, Massa is feeling cold about the season. Hamilton is still in hot water but here are the photos just in case you missed the race.
Its either McLaren or Lewis Hamilton who have a death wish, you start the first race of the season with a crap car, drive your heart out, get 4th then go and lie about what happened on the track knowing full well that the FIA can listen to your radio chatter to the pit wall. They are stark raving mad.
F1 rule change – again
Mar 19
I thought someone was pulling my leg when they told me this but then the BBC did its job and blogged about it soon after, not sure if I agree or disagree but sometimes there can be too many changes and you are not sure what really broke the system. Anyway this time they have changed the rules so that the driver with the most wins in the season NOT points wins the championship, which would have meant that Lewis Hamilton would not have won last year.
I am looking forward to the other changes they have made this season but was this one just a step too far?
